I’m passionate about food, I mean I live for food, and I don’t, you know, eat to live, I live to eat, that is so true for me. You don’t have that mindset of where you’re like oh I shouldn’t eat that or oh I can’t have that, I can still you know, it gives you control, it knows that your body can only eat so much.

Stapling, I believe is major surgery, I mean it is major surgery, there’s no going back once you have it done. There’s no reversing that, there’s no if you start gaining weight again, there’s nothing to keep you from continuing to gain again, where the Lap-Band is, you know, it is it’s adjustable, you know, if you feel like you’re maybe eating a little too much, you know then you just go in and you can have it adjusted, which I’ve done a couple times you know or if it’s too tight and you’re having a little too hard of a time meeting you just go in and then you know loosen it up a little bit and I would do it again in a minute. It was the best thing I ever did.

Follow-up care is, one Dr Davtyan staff is wonderful, Dr Davtyan’s wonderful. I just adore him, and his staff, they’re so supportive and you know I was calling to just kind of check on me and just make sure everything’s good, and yeah, they’re just amazing. Recommend him to anyone thinking about having Lap-Band surgery. I’ve lost 90 pounds with the Lap-Band, and I’ve kept it off for nine and a half years.
