I had three kids and during and after the pregnancies, I gained weight. It wasn’t until 2017 where my health took a really bad turn. My stress levels were high, I wasn’t doing well mentally or physically. During this time, I gained a lot of weight. At my lowest point, I couldn’t walk, I wasn’t able to stand to do dishes, I couldn’t do laundry without needing to take breaks to lay down after ten minutes. I was always depressed. I never wanted to go out. My mental health was failing.
I went to the doctors and they told me that I had arthritis in my spine. The doctor said that if I didn’t lose weight, I would become completely handicapped. My cholesterol was over 350 and because of my weight, he said I would be at risk for heart disease. I then found out that I had a hernia, which was what was causing me to have heartburn. I decided to get weight loss surgery because I had three kids to take care of and my life depended on me losing weight. Even though I was so scared, I knew it had to be done. I could have died at any moment from all the health problems I had from being overweight, and my children would have been left alone.

It has now been two years and six months since my surgery and I have lost 102 pounds. I don’t have heartburn or back pain anymore. My snoring is gone. My energy is at an all time high! People say that when you lose weight, you lose energy; but it’s the opposite. I have the energy of a 13/14 year old.
Once I lost the weight, everything started to fall into place on its own. Mentally, spiritually, emotionally… everything was better. I made a list before my surgery of all the things I would need to fix in my life after I lost weight, and they were all solved. I didn’t need to work on anything else. When I met Dr. Davtyan, my whole life came together and I’m exactly where I need to be now. I owe it all to him. My whole life is changed.
I would 100% recommend this surgery to somebody considering it. I’d say, Let’s go, I’ll call Dr. Davtyan.
